I just recieved my caliper piston repair kit from M and P which is supposed to be for a 1991 DT. It appears to be 35mm wide as opposed to the 30mm that mine is which is confusing, even more so as the 3 other sellers i contacted on e### about their kits all say they are 35mm wide?? So was ready to strart bleeding the brakes after a new piston and seals, went to undo the bleed nipple and it snapped right off. Any ideas on how to get it out? I've got another one on order but struggling on how to remove the snapped off one inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've hear alot of ppl on here talking about lobbing DTX wheels on their DTR's /RE's now i have a question , if i wanted to lob some RE wheels and forks on my DTX to go green laning would my twin pot brembo fit on standard DTR/RE forks and small disc, i know you have to make a bracket up if you do the opposite

So I've recently overhauld both front and rear calipers on my 1998 DTR. Be careful when buying a rear piston and seals kit as the rear on mine was a 30mm piston and yet alot on ebay listed as rear ( even for my year) and yet were supplying 35mm piston and seals which fit the front. I got my rear kit from YamBits...

When i driving or pushing my DTR forwards it making a high iiek iiek ieeek sound from te front brakes. When i'm hitting the brakes this sound stops. Also when i put some water on the brakes this also seems to help.. What is causing this noise ? is it fraction between the disc and brake pads ?

Anyone tried fitting different brakes on their dt's as the standard one's are pretty shocking. Riding my mates wr125 earlier, the brakes are so much better, anyone tried fitting them? Not sure if they would fit or not but look fairly similar. Cheers
