So I'm about to gut my pipe soon, but I need to know if I can weld it with non-stainless welding wire? or would it have to be stainless?

av a front pipe free to good home but has a few holes in first section of pipe other than that theres nowt wrong wiv it ! only draw back is if u want it youve gotta fetch it otherwise it'll sit in my shed rottin !! up to you if want pics will put some up ova nxt day or so ..

I got my front pipe derestricted today cost £35 and worth every penny. Wow what a difference ballistic to say the least! I,ve got one more restriction to do the one in the air intake to the carb. I got 80mph against the wind just need a downhill run with the wind behind me now lol.

Hi,need some help here,my local bike shop is selling off a few 2005 Dt exausts,must be from re model,will a pipe from this model fit a 2000 dt,they look pretty simular,but possibly the insides are designed different or mountings not the same,many thanks in advance if anyone can help

Just after washing out my my crap filled stock down pipe with caustic soda, then emptied a can of WD40 inside the pipe and outside. The thing is now my poxy paint is after washing off cause of the wd40 I heard Plasti kote BBQ Paint is great but i can find it over in my shops. Their is a halfords round the cor...

had this exhaust in my spares collection for a while it was on a mid 90s dtr i had a while back. its got no markings on it at all is it standard?

Im under the impression that the RE does not have a cat. It looks like it has been cut as it has a rough edge. Should this pipe be blanked off or should it be left open?

No gloss here i'm afraid but it's better than before: This is after a clean up, forgot to take one before i started but it was covered with flaking rust and looked dirty. ...and now finished ready to go back on yeah i missed a little tiny bit at the very top but that will never be seen

Probably not the norm for this forum but i want to make my bike as quiet as possible. How is the best way to achieve this? is there a specific 'quiet' exhaust on the market or should i butcher a standard one and add some packing or something? Cheers
