Im getting a set of dtr forks off ebay , im gonna swap the lowers for my dtx lowers , simple so far , dtr fork seal on AJ Sutton =£10 DTX fork oil seal on AJ Sutton = £30 !!!! WTF do i need to get the seals to match my lowers? or seals for a dtr???

usd forks conversion, please help!

hey guys, looks like the unevitable has happend and i have grabbed myself some yzf usd forks. looking at the yokes/stem, the bottom tapered bearing is the same, but what do i do about the top bearing, looseball in my case. and also what are the wheel, calliper arrangments? thanks:))

Stuck at moment trying tonremove damper rod from front b forks...is there a method to this. Allen bolt is far too stiff and dont want to mess the head up.does it turn anti clockwise? Tried a bar on key but no go...please help

right got my fork gaiters ready to fit on forks- not sure how far down the leg they fit? do they cover the ridge thats about 2 inches down past the seals? any pics close up to show woulb be great help, and will the supplied cable ties be enough to keep them in position? cheers

hi all my forks are weeping and i dont know if its because there not seated properly or there knackered a local garage want 50 quid or my mate that i bought it off said he can get someone to do it buy the seals and pay him 40 and hell do it how much should i be paying? thanks

Polishing top yoke?

Has anyone polished their top yoke? thinking about doing it to mine as they have seen alot better days, one thing is putting me off is how good the finish will stay,not sure if it will get marked up if it gets dirty? Any help appreciated, trying to get my 1993 tdr looking great again :D
