Hi bought another carb front off ebay with a rounded mixture screw managed to get old one out but new one will only screw in 3 turns have retapped a 5mm thread but will still only go in 3 turns is this normal.

anyone had any symptoms yet? had my first of the year today...felt like i was running out of fuel previously had the pipes that run to the carb disconnected which will not help in cold weather. so gonna have to look out for a set now!! Hi does anyone know where I can get a main jet kit for a 2003 dtr125.stupidly tightened up tge main jet with grips as didnt have a 6 mm spanner and snapped it at the threads where it screws into the brass thread.managed to screw it in with the last remaining threadsand runs fine but exhaust tone has changed...

Anyone know the diameter jubilee clip i need to put around the back end of the carb that connects to the air cleaner?

After changing the jet we put everything back together and now when turnin the fuel tap on with the ignition off the over flow pipes pump out loads of fuel?? for f*ck sake! when I tried to take the old airscrew out with a so called screw extractor, it broke of, and now it's stuck for sure only way would be to melt it out since it's made out of brass, but I guess I'll make the hole to the airbox a bit bigger until it runs fine ... and I'm still waiting on the piston and t...

Still not sorted my bike yet. I started it today and it was still revving 95% sure the carb is the problem, The bike is definatley running rich as there is plenty black oil in the rear silancer and the plug was saturated. Been offered a dt200r carb at very good price... is it a straight swap? Any benfit to fitting them?

The throttle slide on my carb doesnt seem to sit at bottom of carb.throttle screw is not in so thats not the problem?throttle cable adjuster is all way in. Not sure what problem...any ideas..doesnt seem sny tight spots on cable either? Any other adjusters on cable? Gonna order new cable

Did a little water test today and when I put the hose over the carb it cuts out do i need to replace gaskets or seals or something
